Electrical Design Engineer with industrial machinery experience sought to join a well-established OEM in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that is making waves in a wide array of industries, designing high-technology systems, and providing innovative solutions for their clients Electrical Design Engineer Option to Develop into Design Manager £30-55k + 6% Pension, Bonus, Early Friday Finish Hampshire – Relocation Support Available Ref: 23574 Electrical Design Engineer – The Role: Take full responsibility for all aspects of engineering conception and delivery within projects Engage with a diverse range of applications including power conversion systems, industrial automation, thermal management systems, materials science, electronic control systems, industrial software & mechanical machinery Be involved in site work, with a typical split of 90% office-based tasks and 10% on-site duties Electrical Design Engineer – The Person: Experience of electrical system engineering, ideally with transformers, switches, converters Proven experience of control panel design incorporating automation control systems such as PLC/HMI/SCADA Knowledge of electrical distribution in machinery Experience with an electrical CAD package such as Eplan, AutoCAD Electrical, SEE Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical An interest in or experience with PLC software design and machinery safety highly advantageous – not essential This is a role focused on Electrical Design, however any additional knowledge of PLC software would be an added bonus. Currently, all PLC software is outsourced, therefore it would be great to have some in-house skills within this area. Any experience of machinery safety is also of interest, however training will be provided. This is an ideal time to join an established business who are heading into a new phase of growth and looking to the future.
