Key Responsibilities - The Role
- Field wiring of various industrial electrical components including fans, lights, switches
- Understanding and commissioning airflows within a spray booth cabin and paint mixing room
- Commissioning of gas burners
- Occasional plant breakdowns
- Travel to various customer sites within the week
- Provide accurate records of commissioning data
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities - The Person
- Electrical installation (i.e. Level 3 NVQ or 18th Edition)
- Ideally experienced as a gas engineer or holds relevant certifications in gas engineering (e.g., Gas Safe Register)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Valid driving license
This position is due to growth and a full order book for the next few years. They are looking for dedicated engineers who are flexible for travel. This client is open to considering candidates across the UK. Good links to the motorway network would be beneficial.
