We’re looking for a proactive, creative Product Marketing Executive who’s genuinely passionate about marketing and ready to make an impact. You’ll join our product team at an exciting time, taking ownership of campaigns across multiple channels and helping shape how the world discovers and engages with our products. This isn’t a “sit back and wait to be told” role. You’ll spot opportunities, bring ideas to the table, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. You’ll work closely with our product marketing team to plan, manage, and execute campaigns—and you’ll have the freedom to put your own stamp on the work. Our products live within the Atlassian ecosystem (think Confluence and Jira). If you already know your way around Atlassian tools, even better — but curiosity and a willingness to learn matter just as much.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of marketing strategy across key products, taking ownership of your channels and campaigns.
- Create compelling, high-quality content, including blogs, videos, product guides, emails, and community posts that generate leads and convert.
- Plan and deliver organic and paid multi-channel marketing campaigns alongside the product marketing team.
- Spot content optimisation opportunities and work with colleagues to implement improvements.
- Own and maintain the marketing campaign calendar for your activities.
- Contribute to monthly SEO audits and help keep our search presence sharp.
- Help plan and coordinate our presence at key industry events, liaising with internal stakeholders to keep everything on track.
Team
- Collaborate with internal marketing, development, product, customer success and management teams to keep campaigns aligned and moving.
- Work with external agencies and contractors to deliver on time and to a high standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and external partners.
- Make the most of your allocated personal development time to grow your skills and work towards your goals.
- Take initiative in finding answers — whether that’s through internal documentation, asking the right questions, or running an experiment.
Commercial
- Bring customer awareness and empathy in every aspect of day‑to‑day work.
- Respect planned deadlines and proactively communicate potential blockers or delays — no surprises.
- Help manage the marketing budget for your activities and ensure spend delivers value.
Your profile
Essential
- A strong educational background: bachelor’s degree, vocational qualification (e.g. CIM), or similar.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a marketing role — or in a hands-on role where you’ve built transferable marketing skills (content, campaigns, digital, communications). You should be able to hit the ground running.
- A genuine passion for marketing, with the ability to tell stories well and communicate clearly in writing and in person.
- Solid knowledge of social media platforms, marketing tools, and techniques.
- Experience with SEO and website work (WordPress experience preferred).
- Knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem and/or hands-on experience with tools like Confluence and Jira.
- Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns in a hands-on role.
- Skills in content creation and design tools (Canva Pro, Adobe suite, Figma).
- Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment.
