The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive salesperson who thrives on networking, strategic account development, uncovering opportunities and driving growth through logo acquisitions. Your role is to originate and close new business sales from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and contract signing. You will keep any customers you bring on, developing the relationships and driving expansion revenue. You will have the chance to gain partner accreditations, specialise in key technologies and become the “go‑to” person within AC for specific services and tools. Our head of Sales will be your mentor, with eight incredible years in our business, exceeding targets, building lasting relationships and reputation with industry leaders; you’ll learn from someone who has navigated every challenge, seized every opportunity, and built a blueprint for success that you can follow and expand upon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and revenue growth through strategic prospecting and consultative selling.
  • Managing the full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing and account management.
  • Build ongoing trust‑based client relationships by understanding their challenges and solution selling.
  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to deliver seamless implementations, client attraction and success.
  • Manage and maintain your pipeline of opportunities, ensuring forecasts are accurate and up to date.
  • Use data‑driven insights to shape proposals, solve complex challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Skills And Experience

Essential

  • Proven track record of consultative and strategic sales success
  • Full 360 sales experience (Lead generation through to account growth)
  • Ability to balance new business development with account growth
  • Self‑motivated and results driven, with excellent time‑management skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Comfortable working remotely while staying highly engaged with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator and Apollo.io

Nice to have

  • Keen interest in the Technology sector
  • An understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Salary and Benefits

£40,000 - £55,000 base salary plus uncapped commission. Benefits include 25 days’ holiday (excluding bank holidays which are taken in addition), private healthcare, dental insurance, enhanced maternity.
