The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
To efficiently process all goods in and out procedures by supporting the stores and build teams. The role will include working as part of a team and on your own using your own initiative across multiple disciplines / departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently to the companies standards and priorities
- To accurately record all transactions using the in-house IT system
- To confidently liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts
- To be able to provide support to various departments in an agile manufacturing environment
- Moving equipment / products around our premises as requested
- Assist in unloading deliveries as and when required
- Adapt to a variety of tasks which could include operating machinery and other general duties
- General daily upkeep of the warehouse
- Assist other AIR personnel with key tasks as and when requested
- Ensure yard area is maintained and kept as a safe and tidy environment
- Ensure the shop floor working environment is clean and is conducive to product and service quality
- Comply with the Management System requirements for Health and Safety ensuring others work to company and policies and procedures
- Comply with Risk Assessments, Method Statements and the Health and Safety Management System
- Ensure compliance with the management systems requirement for the Environment and Quality by working to company policies and procedures
- Carry out any duties as and when requested by the Progress & Goods In Manager
Qualifications:
- Experience in an engineering environment preferred
- FLT License, electric pallet truck licence beneficial
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Good computer analytical skills
- Working knowledge and general awareness of health and safety issues
- Confident with good communication skills
- Able to absorb information and prioritise workload with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Team-player and ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of working with electrical components
