Automated Creative (AC) is an ad tech platform that makes, scales, and optimises ad creative for digital platforms using live campaign data. We position ourselves as the fastest way to create, scale and test performance ads with our proprietary marketing technology platform Creator.
We have three clear value propositions for our clients: data-driven creative at speed and scale; and reduce non-working media costs.
We have helped brands including Mars, Brown Forman, Bose, Tonies, Specsavers, Lipton, Formula 1, and Suntory Global Spirits innovate their digital advertising.
We are hiring a Sales Director to take ownership of new business and help build the next stage of Automated Creative’s revenue engine. This is a senior commercial role sitting at the intersection of enterprise sales, pipeline generation, and function building. You will own new business across enterprise brands and agency partners, while also helping define how we scale sales beyond founder-led growth.
You will be responsible for both generating and converting pipeline — building outbound activity across key ICPs, converting inbound leads from marketing, and closing complex enterprise deals typically ranging from £30K–£200K ACV. You will be selling into senior marketing stakeholders, CMOs, Heads of Performance, and VP Marketing teams across consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles of 8–12 weeks.
This hire will take ownership of new business development, gradually transitioning and ultimately fully owning the sales motion as the company moves into its next stage of growth. You will own enterprise new business end-to-end, building your own outbound pipeline while also converting inbound leads from marketing in partnership with Client Services. You will be speaking directly to senior marketing leaders (CMOs, VP Marketing, Heads of Performance), running consultative conversations and managing full sales cycles from first touch through to close, typically over 8–12 weeks.
Alongside closing deals, you will actively represent AC in the market through networking, events, and industry engagement, helping to open new commercial opportunities. As the business scales, you will also help define and build the sales function, improving how we generate, manage, and convert pipeline in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
You are a high-performing enterprise sales professional with a strong track record of closing £50K–£200K ACV deals in adtech, martech, or creative technology. You are confident in selling to senior marketing stakeholders (CMO, VP Marketing, Head of Performance) across complex, consultative sales cycles, and you are comfortable operating without heavy sales infrastructure or SDR support. You win deals through insight, positioning, and commercial understanding rather than price.
You are commercially sharp, data-literate, and disciplined in CRM management and forecasting. You are entrepreneurial and self-sufficient, motivated by building and scaling new business in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
- Built a successful track record in enterprise sales within adtech, martech, media, or creative technology
- Strong network across brand and agency-side marketing leaders
- Consistent success closing £50K–£200K ACV deals with senior stakeholders (CMO, VP Marketing, Head of Performance)
- Comfortable owning the full sales cycle independently — from first outreach through to close
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem (Meta, Google, DV360, TikTok) with a consultative selling approach
- Excellent pipeline discipline — forecasting, CRM hygiene, and deal management
- Data-literate, able to turn insight into clear, compelling commercial narratives
- Sold creative intelligence, performance creative, or AI-driven marketing platforms
- Existing relationships across senior brand or agency decision-makers
- Exposure to both brand and agency-side sales motions
- Used industry events, conferences, and networking as a core part of pipeline generation
