About AC Automated Creative (AC) is an ad tech platform that makes, scales, and optimises ad creative for digital platforms using live campaign data. We position ourselves as the fastest way to create, scale and test performance ads with our proprietary marketing technology platform Creator.
We have three clear value propositions for our clients: data-driven creative at speed and scale; and reduce non-working media costs. We have helped brands including Mars, Brown Forman, Bose, Tonies, Specsavers, Lipton, Formula 1, and Suntory Global Spirits innovate their digital advertising.
AC is looking for a Senior Client Lead / Account Director to run campaigns with world-famous brands. We're reinventing work as much as we are marketing and are looking for someone entrepreneurial who wants to explore strategy, client management, technology, and data.
The role is a hybrid, with areas covering data, strategy and creativity. You will be the central contact point for large global clients and be supported by a global team of Client Leads. Direct line management experience is not required, but experience managing lots of people for project delivery work is.
You will have ownership with your team of a portfolio of clients, ensuring they are utilising our technology and supporting them to deliver their advertising campaigns and goals. We sit between a creative agency and media agency, so we often work with multiple teams to deliver a holistic campaign; an understanding of both areas is important for this.
The ideal candidate has a creative agency or digital media agency background, but is keen to work in a more innovative and dynamic space. You should have a good understanding of social media and performance including, for example, Meta Ads Manager and/or Google CM360.
It is essential to have a curiosity for digital strategy and data, as well as a basic understanding of how digital advertising bidding algorithms work and to have an interest in the power of data.
- Be the central leader of the Client Account ensuring each local market Client Lead is working on time and as expected.
- Leading client data health-checks and communicating effectively results, optimisations, efficiencies and further capabilities.
- Managing the resource required to keep projects running efficiently, including briefing or managing copywriters or designers or ensuring the Client Lead team are.
- Keeping on top of blockers or timeline changes, and being aware of the implications of timeline delays on a project.
- Not being a ‘yes’ man, being a client consultant with AC’s needs and recommendations coming first.
- Add strategic value to the clients’ long term growth to grow and retain the portfolio.
- Stay ahead of industry changes and knowledge to keep us at the forefront of innovating digital advertising.
You have at least 5 years of industry (agency or digital marketing) experience. You enjoy building relationships with clients and have a proven track record of success. Commercially strategic and results-driven, with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities, drive revenue, and consistently deliver against ambitious targets. You have experience handling a large, multi-market or multi-brand complex client.
You have experience using social/digital media including DV360 and/or Facebook/Snap/TikTok Ads Manager. Data driven - you take a data driven approach to your work and enjoy building narratives using data. Both right and left brained, and excited by data but have an interest in making on-brand and beautiful creative too. Detail-oriented as we often work with large numbers of ad creative, multiple clients and large data sets; an eye for numbers and precision is key.
Office hours are 9:30am - 6pm. We ask for one day a week minimum in the office on a Thursday, mainly to socialise with the wider team and attend face-to-face meetings. Beyond that we are flexible on your preferred place to work day-to-day.
30 days annual holiday, not including public holidays and Christmas closure. Remote and flexible working opportunities. 6 monthly profit share bonuses given to all employees. Bike and technology schemes. Private Vitality Health Insurance. Company pension. Regular socials and twice annual day trip socials (this summer we went to the Peak District for three days!).
We believe in working hard, but not being overworked. At Automated Creative, we are committed to treating all employees and applicants fairly and equally regardless of their gender, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, race, colour, national or ethnic origin, social or economic background, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation, or age.
