We're looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager to take full ownership of the Mid-West region, build pipeline, and drive revenue growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales, North America, you'll be the face of Automata in your territory—developing relationships, generating opportunities, and closing complex deals as a high-performing individual contributor within our growing US sales organization.
What You'll Do
- Own your territory, develop and execute a strategic sales plan that drives measurable growth across your assigned region.
- Build relationships, establish yourself as a trusted partner with key accounts, understanding their challenges and demonstrating how LINQ solves them.
- Drive pipeline—identify and qualify new opportunities through both account expansion and new business development.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Applications, Customer Success, Service, and Product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Deliver results by consistently achieving sales targets and quotas while maintaining forecast accuracy.
- Conduct live software demonstrations and product presentations that showcase LINQ's capabilities.
- Provide strategic insight by sharing market feedback, competitive intelligence, and territory performance analysis with leadership.
- Support marketing initiatives through partnerships with marketing on territory‑specific campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Ensure CRM accuracy and adherence to sales processes.
What You Bring
- Essential: B.S. or M.S. in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years selling lab automation integrations and/or customized liquid handling platforms.
- 5+ years in life sciences sales with large account management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform live software demonstrations.
- Strong understanding of automation workflows, lab hardware, or integrated software systems.
- Self‑motivated with proven ability to work independently and achieve ambitious goals.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 40‑50%) for customer site visits and national trade shows.
