Role Summary: The Manager Patient Scheduling and Logistics will execute a strategy and deliver goals which enable clinical study and commercial delivery. Responsibilities include executing the clinical study coordination and scheduling of patients and their cells, from treatment site to Autolus manufacturing. Success in this role will require considerable initiative, proactive planning, real-time problem-solving, and a focus on exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Patient Scheduling and Logistics strategy to realise Autolus clinical and commercial goals.
  • Manage patient cell journeys in both the clinical trial and commercial settings.
  • Act as the interface and process management lead between cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and manage patient scheduling and cell management tasks.
  • Communicate operational study requirements and manufacturing slot availability to the clinical sites.
  • Lead internal projects or act as Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to Data Protection requirements.
  • Participate and/or lead the development, review and implementation of departmental SOPs and processes.
  • Provide daily telephone and email contact centre support to live operations.

Required to work on select national holidays to support operations, with an alternative day off to be arranged with management. Travel up to 10% of working time to EU and US sites.

Demonstrated skills and competencies:

  • Breadth of experience in clinical/commercial/healthcare logistics, supply chain or customer service experience.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Experience working in Patient Scheduling and Logistics or CAR-T (preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, supply chain, operations management, business, or related field (preferred).
  • Desired 3 years of managerial experience in healthcare operations or supply chain (preferred).

Skills/Specialist knowledge:

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Adept analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and rigorous data accuracy.
  • Strong leadership, people collaboration and motivation skills.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience working in a GxP environment.
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, and Outlook skills.
