Role Summary: The Business Analytics, Forecasting & Competitive Intelligence Associate contributes to the generation of actionable insights across Autolus' commercial portfolio and pipeline assets. The role supports Business Analytics, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, and Market Research activities through data analysis, market assessments, competitor monitoring, conference coverage, vendor coordination, and knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Director, Business Analytics & Insights, in the generation and dissemination of competitive, market, forecasting, and customer insights across commercial and pipeline assets.
  • Assist in Competitive Intelligence activities, including conference coverage, news monitoring and alerts, competitor profiling, landscape assessments, maintenance of knowledge repositories, development of competitor objection-handling materials, and dissemination of insights to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support relationships with external vendors across Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, and Forecasting projects, assisting with project execution, deliverables, timelines, and budget tracking.
  • Support the identification, collection, synthesis, and communication of actionable intelligence related to competitors, market dynamics, customer needs, technological developments, and the broader healthcare environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of Competitive Intelligence processes, databases, online intelligence platforms, and books of knowledge to ensure easy access to relevant information across the organisation.
  • Provide analytical and operational support for market research activities, including vendor coordination, secondary research, literature reviews, analysis of syndicated data, and interpretation of research results for both marketed products and pipeline indications.
  • Provide support for forecasting activities across marketed products and pipeline assets, including data collection, model maintenance, analysis, and coordination with external forecasting partners.
  • Support market analytics activities, with particular emphasis on the UK market, including performance monitoring, market sizing, patient flow analytics, customer insights, and ad hoc business analyses.
  • Assist in integrating information from multiple sources, including Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, Commercial Analytics, and Medical Insights, to support cross-functional decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and other communication materials to effectively share insights with Commercial, Medical, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as required to support business planning and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field. (E)
