We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning Management System (LMS) Support Administrator to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. This role will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of our LMS to ensure that employees across various departments have seamless access to training materials and resources. As a key part of the Training team, you will ensure that all training records are meticulously maintained as per GxP regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- LMS Administration
- Act as the primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a daily basis.
- Manage user accounts (e.g. creation, role assignments, obsoletion), training assignments, course enrolments, and reporting.
- Ensure that users (employees, managers, and trainers) can easily access and complete required training programs on the LMS.
- Provide responsive, effective, and timely technical support to users experiencing issues with the LMS, such as login problems, course access issues, and content-related challenges.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and work with IT teams to resolve system errors or updates.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to upload, update, and maintain training content, including e-learning modules, compliance courses, and certifications.
- Ensure that all materials are correctly formatted and accessible to end-users.
- Maintain curriculum content.
- Ensure that compliance-related courses, certifications, and training sessions are available and properly documented within the LMS.
- Provide support for managing and tracking mandatory regulatory training (e.g., GxP, FDA regulations) in alignment with company standards.
- Generate and analyze reports on training completion rates, certification status, and other LMS metrics to ensure compliance and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
- Communicate training deadlines, compliance requirements, and system updates clearly to employees and management.
- Work closely with the LMS vendor or IT department to maintain system functionality, apply updates, and resolve any technical issues.
- Ensure the LMS is up to date and integrates effectively with other corporate systems.
Demonstrated skills and competencies

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting or administering an LMS, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with learning management systems such as MasterControl, ComplianceWire, Cornerstone, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance training and regulatory standards within the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., GxP, FDA, MHRA, ICH Q7/Q10).
- Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with creating and managing user accounts, assigning roles, and tracking training progress within a regulated system.
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous with tasks assigned with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist users of varying technical proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on supporting learners and employees.
- Understanding of e-learning development, digital learning solutions, and training analytics.
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Educational Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
