Job
Description: Architect, design, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using Mule Soft Platform and other relevant tools.
Define and govern integration patterns, standards, and reusable frameworks (e. g., APIs, microservices, messaging).
Partner with data Pro application owners, business analysts, and data teams to translate business and technical requirements into system interfaces and APIs.
Lead the development, deployment, and monitoring of robust, secure APIs and data pipelines, ensuring resilience, traceability, and compliance.
Provide technical leadership to internal developers and manage delivery from external vendors and integration partners.
Own Mule Soft platform configurations, including environments, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CI/CD integrations, and platform health monitoring.
Collaborate with Info Sec and Compliance teams to ensure all integrations align with HIPAA, GDPR, Gx P, and internal security protocols.
Contribute to overall data architecture strategy, including support for MDM, metadata management, and Data Lakehouse initiatives.
Maintain high-quality documentation for interfaces, services, and technical design decisions.
- Demonstrated skills and competencies E – Essential P – Preferred
- Experience 8+ years of experience in enterprise data integration, system architecture, or related technical domains.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Mule Soft Platform, including API design, deployment, and management.
- Proven experience integrating with cloud-based and Saa S applications (e. g., D365, Salesforce, Veeva, Workday, Net Suite, AWS/Azure services).
- Experience designing high-performance, scalable, and secure APIs and integration solutions.
- Leadership experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and guiding technical teams or vendors.
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or other regulated industries (preferred).
- Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of integration design patterns, data movement strategies, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Proficiency with API development, REST/SOAP standards, OAuth2, JWT, and web service security protocols.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of Mule Soft API Gateway, connectors, and orchestration flows.
- Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, HL7, FHIR) and transport protocols (HTTPS, JMS, JDBC, SFTP).
- Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, high-stakes biotech environment.
- Skills/Specialist knowledge Deep hands‑on experience with Mule Soft architecture, platform administration, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging and hybrid integrations.
Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and Data Management strategies.
Awareness of regulatory and privacy frameworks applicable to biotech data environments (HIPAA, Gx P, GDPR).
Mule Soft Certified Developer and/or Architect certifications strongly preferred.
