Job Description:
The Contracts Apprentice will provide administrative and substantive support for our contract-related processes. The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter and comfortable with performing and managing multiple administration led tasks in a fast paced and changing environment. This is a hands-on role with significant potential for development and expanded responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide all round administrative support to the legal team for the Autolus Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) System, including intake from business users, coordination of review by in-house counsel, and execution of final documents.
- Entry of agreements into the CLM, and setting up alerts and notifications for contract renewals, expiry, amendments, etc.
- Stakeholder communication via calls and emails (using MS Outlook, MS Teams, etc), including obtaining contract signatures via Docusign.
- Training users on contracting processes, assist with enforcement of Autolus’s contracts policy and advise on purchase order procedures.
- Liaising with Autolus internal departments to improve contracting processes & performance processes.
- Maintaining and organising the Legal SharePoint folders and other documents and records for Legal.
- Adhoc tasks as and when required.

Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (E).
Skills/Specialist knowledge:
- A ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to help others - enjoys teamwork and is a natural team player (E).
- Ability to handle highly confidential personal data, and maintain confidentiality at all times (E).
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite, and DocuSign. Working knowledge of SharePoint will be an advantage.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, knowledge of other languages an advantage.
- Reliable and punctual (E).
- Good telephone skills (E).
- Accurate numeracy skills (E).
