The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an ambitious and driven Junior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic and interdisciplinary family to maintain and further enhance our software, threading design and business thinking together. You will be using a variety of creative methods to convey ideas and concepts and collaborate with other teams to integrate design outputs into the broader Autolomous business and strategic context.

Your Mission

  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes for digital healthcare manufacturing applications, considering usability, accessibility and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure alignment with user requirements and feasibility within technical constraints.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience, adhering to best design practices, usability and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
  • Collate feedback from internal teams, stakeholders and external users to iterate and improve on designs.
  • Provide design assets, specifications and guidelines for development, and review UI implementation to ensure fidelity to designs.
  • Stay up to date on healthcare design trends, UX/UI best practices and emerging design technologies (e.g. AI).
  • Create graphics and videos for social media, slide presentations, brochures, posters and other digital assets or printed materials when required.
  • And any other duties which we may reasonably assign to you.

What we’d like from you

  • Has a degree in UX/UI Design or another related degree in the creative space.
  • A strong thinker, creative problem solver and an efficient doer.
  • Experience with motion graphics and video/audio editing.
  • Effective and clear communicator orally and written; excellent presenter.
  • Has experience developing and maintaining a design system.
  • Has worked with Adobe Creative Suite and other visual and interaction design tools/systems e.g. Figma.
  • Has experience creating and maintaining branding materials e.g. prints – brochures, banners, business cards, and digital – infographics, presentations, icons, logos.
  • Can work well in a team but is also independent and self-driven and well organised.
