What you’ll do:
- Required to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance in plant or office facilities and/or on machines and equipment.
- Performs work maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, basic electrical, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and/or general maintenance.
- Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns.
- Uses hand and power tools.
- May be involved in testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment.
- Uses prints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
- May be involved with monitoring/assisting work performed by vendors.
What is required:
- Grade 12 and College Diploma.
- Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A.
- 2-5 years experience in an industrial setting.
- Automotive experience an asset.
