It’s an exciting time to join Autolift as we continue to grow within the commercial vehicle lifting equipment sector. Over the past 12 months, our production levels have increased significantly, and we are now looking to expand our capacity even further. We are a close-knit team, proud to design and manufacture all of our products on-site before distributing them across the UK and internationally. As a small business, everyone plays an important role, and this position offers a varied and hands-on working environment across both office and workshop settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming customer calls
- Managing emails and customer enquiries
- Following up on previous enquiries and generating new sales opportunities
- Analysing previous sales data to identify trends and support business growth
- Processing orders
- Ordering stock and liaising with suppliers
- Maintaining stock control systems
- Picking and packing spare parts orders
- Assisting in the manufacture of component parts as/when required (full training provided)
Please note, due to the nature of our products, this role will involve some manual handling and heavy lifting.
Additional Information
- This is a fully on-site role; remote working is not available
- Strong teamwork and clear communication are essential to ensure smooth daily operations
- Full training will be provided by our experienced team, along with appropriate health and safety equipment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general IT systems
- We use CRM software (Statii) – knowledge of this would be beneficial but training will be provided.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A driving licence would be advantageous

Salary and Benefits
- £13.00 per hour (There will be some opportunity for overtime depending on the workload but this will not be mandatory.) Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
- 20 Days Holiday per year (+ Bank Holidays)
- Working Hours: Hours per week – 40. Our standard hours are: Monday – Thursday – 7am to 4.30pm, Friday – 7am to 11am
