Are you an experienced tax professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice in Newport that’s looking for a tax manager to join their friendly and growing team.
You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients across personal, corporate, and trust tax, delivering a mix of compliance and advisory work. You’ll have real ownership, with the freedom to build client relationships and lead on strategic tax planning.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and completing Corporation Tax Returns
- Handling Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a range of clients
- Preparing Capital Gains Tax (CGT) disclosures and HMRC electronic submissions
- Producing Sole Trader and Partnership accounts
- Managing your own portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, meeting all deadlines with ease
Your advisory role:
- Delivering and implementing strategic tax planning solutions
- Responding to ad-hoc tax queries clearly and promptly
- Liaising professionally with HMRC on client matters
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Developing strong client relationships through exceptional service
