Client Manager – Plymouth Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 DOE An established and growing accountancy practice in Plymouth is looking for an experienced Client Manager to join their team. This is a varied role with responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients and providing a high-quality accounts and tax service, while building strong, long-term client relationships. The Role Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts Preparing Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment tax returns Producing management accounts and providing financial information to clients Dealing with client queries and providing day-to-day accounting support Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT work Building and maintaining strong client relationships Reviewing work produced by junior members of the team Supporting and mentoring more junior colleagues Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and advice Managing your own workload and ensuring deadlines are met About You The successful candidate will have solid, recent experience within an accountancy practice and be confident managing a portfolio of clients independently. You will ideally be AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified or part-qualified, although relevant experience will also be considered. You should have strong technical accounts and tax knowledge, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in developing strong client relationships.
