Negotiable Due to continued growth, our client are seeking a talented Payroll Associate to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment and contribute to the success of a growing practice.

The

Position: Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for: Processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a variety of clients using Sage Payroll.

Managing Bacs payments and submitting HMRC returns.

Uploading pension data to pension providers.

Completing year-end submissions.

Handling client payroll queries.

Providing holiday cover for the Payroll Manager.

  • Specification: Essential

Criteria: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within an accountancy practice.

Proven experience in running multiple client payrolls in a bureau environment.

Proficiency in Sage Payroll.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

A proactive and problem-solving approach.

Desirable

Criteria: Experience with other payroll software (e. g., Xero).

Presentation skills.

Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
