Overview
As Tax Manager in a well-established Newport accountancy practice, you will manage a diverse client portfolio across personal, corporate, and trust tax. You’ll deliver a mix of compliance and advisory work, shaping strategic tax planning and building strong client relationships. You will own deadlines and outcomes, mentor junior staff, and liaise with HMRC on complex matters. This is a hands-on role focused on impact, client service, and collaborative growth within a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete Corporation Tax Returns
- Handle Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a range of clients
- Prepare Capital Gains Tax (CGT) disclosures and HMRC electronic submissions
- Produce Sole Trader and Partnership accounts
- Manage your own portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, meeting all deadlines
