Job Title: Tax ManagerLocation: NewportSalary: Circa 60,000 - 80,000Are you an experienced tax professional looking to take the next step in your career?We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice in Newport that’s looking for a tax manager to join their friendly and growing team.You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients across personal, corporate, and trust tax, delivering a mix of compliance and advisory work. You’ll have real ownership, with the freedom to build client relationships and lead on strategic tax planning.What you’ll be doing:Preparing and completing Corporation Tax ReturnsHandling Self-Assessment Tax Returns for a range of clientsPreparing Capital Gains Tax (CGT) disclosures and HMRC electronic submissionsProducing Sole Trader and Partnership accountsManaging your own portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, meeting all deadlines with easeYour advisory role:Delivering and implementing strategic tax planning solutionsResponding to ad-hoc tax queries clearly and promptlyLiaising professionally with HMRC on client mattersSupporting and mentoring junior team membersDeveloping strong client relationships through exceptional serviceAbout you:You have solid experience in tax within a practice environmentYou’re comfortable working independently and managing your own client baseYou enjoy solving problems, giving advice, and seeing the impact of your workYou're confident communicating with clients and tax authorities alikeYou take pride in being reliable, detail-focused, and approachableNext Steps:If this sounds like the right role for you, click apply to upload your CV today.
