In order to support our continued growth, we are looking to expand our pool of Freelance Warehouse Technicians to support the day to day operation of our new warehouse in Perivale. Whilst previous experience in a similar warehouse or on-site role in the theatre, events, broadcast or other related industries is desirable, it is not essential. A positive attitude, ability to learn quickly and willingness to be a team player are key, and we welcome applications from candidates at any stage of their career. You will have the opportunity to get broad, hands-on experience with the latest sound and communications equipment and learn from industry leading technicians and Production Sound Engineers. The role is on a freelance basis and would be paid via invoice. A basic lunch would also be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Prep and deprep of hire inventory.
  • Working closely with all departments to return hire inventory to stock.
  • Working closely with internal and external engineers to deliver equipment to prep rooms.
  • Testing and preparing equipment for hire.
  • Allocation and tracking of hire inventory.
  • Reporting faulty or damaged equipment, and making repairs where appropriate.
  • General departmental and wider warehouse housekeeping.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of sound equipment desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working in theatre, live events, broadcast, or similar related industries desirable but not essential.
  • Positive and friendly personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent time keeping.
  • Highly organised and dependable with the ability to multi-task.
  • Able to take initiative - ability to think ahead and problem solve.
  • Sufficiently physically fit to handle, load and unload sound equipment, cable and flight cases.
