The opportunity
This role will be to work on clients; posting invoices, reconciling bank and preparing journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
Responsibilities
- Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients
- Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and other products
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to reconcile all control accounts
- Data processing and reconciliations both at clients' premises and in the office
- Preparation of VAT Returns
The ideal candidate
- 2 years of Bookkeeping experience
- 2 years experience in accountancy practice
- Ability to deal with tasks on a timely basis
- Highly developed organisational skills
- Competent in setting own deadlines and meeting organisation deadlines
- Self-manage workloads
- Be driven and determined
