Salary: Starting Salary £23,500
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Junior to join a professional and growing accountancy practice based in Swansea.
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on experience, the role will include:
- Bookkeeping tasks, including posting receipts, payments, and invoices to accounting software such as Xero or Sage.
- Prepare basic tax returns with support from the Tax Manager
- Preparing VAT returns.
- Calculating payments on account
- Assisting with client queries
As many clients now use cloud-based accounting software, the majority of the work will be office-based.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in an accountancy role.
- Qualifications: AAT qualified or ACCA part/fully qualified.
- Skills: Proficiency in Word and Excel, with good communication skills to liaise with clients via email and telephone.
