We're recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded accountancy and advisory firm seeking a Tax Advisor to join their growing Rural Succession & Advisory team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career advising farming and rural businesses on complex tax and succession matters, with full support towards the CTA qualification if required.
The Role
Working alongside experienced advisors, you'll provide technical support on a broad range of advisory projects, helping clients navigate important personal and business decisions with confidence. Your work will include:
- Succession planning
- Inheritance Tax and Trust planning
- Capital Gains Tax planning
- Land and property transactions
- Business restructuring
- Estate and rural business planning
You'll assist with technical research, prepare tax computations, draft written advice and support the delivery of practical, commercially focused solutions.
About You
This opportunity would suit someone who is:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) looking to develop into specialist advisory work.
- Recently CTA qualified or currently studying towards the CTA qualification.
- Experienced in tax compliance and/or accounts preparation.
- Technically strong with excellent analytical skills.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Previous exposure to inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, succession planning or rural clients would be advantageous but isn't essential.
