We are delighted to be recruiting for a supportive and friendly accountancy practice seeking a Part-Time Practice Accounts Assistant to join their team. The Role
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Bookkeeping and maintaining client financial records
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Assisting with management accounts and year-end accounts
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Providing general support to the wider practice team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
- Good bookkeeping and accounts preparation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be advantageous
