Part qualified accountant

I am currently recruiting for a part-qualified accountant to join a growing and evolving accountancy practice in East Devon on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing accounts for various business types (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders)
• Contribute to tax compliance tasks, such as corporation tax return preparation
• Support clients with accounting and tax enquiries
• Help with audit processes under the supervision of a qualified accountant
• Manage bookkeeping for clients and prepare VAT returns
• Advise clients on improving their accounting systems
• Maintain a strong understanding of current accounting standards and best practices
• Continuously develop technical skills through on-the-job experience and professional qualifications

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and organisational skills

Qualifications:

• Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or AAT.
