Location: Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire

Part time - flexible hours

Salary: £35,000 FTE DOE

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting a varied portfolio of clients and will be involved in:

  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Bookkeeping and maintaining client financial records
  • VAT return preparation and submission
  • Assisting with management accounts and year-end accounts
  • Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
  • Providing general support to the wider practice team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
  • Good bookkeeping and accounts preparation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • A proactive and positive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be advantageous
