A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join an established and highly regarded accountancy practice. The role offers a varied portfolio of clients, including small and medium-sized companies and charities, with the opportunity to build strong, long-term client relationships.
The Role
- Preparing statutory financial statements for limited companies and charities
- Leading and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Managing your own workload and deadlines
- Dealing with client queries and providing a proactive service
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
- Coaching and supporting junior staff
- Contributing to wider team and internal initiatives
- Getting involved in networking and business development activities
About You
- The successful candidate will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experienced in completing audits within an accountancy practice
- Confident preparing accounts and corporation tax returns
- A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Confident reviewing work and mentoring junior colleagues
- Experience with cash flow forecasts and business plans would be advantageous but is not essential.
