- Working alongside experienced accountants and managers, you will be responsible for supporting a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries, preparing accounts, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with day-to-day compliance work.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparing management accounts where required.
- Completing bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
- Supporting senior team members with year-end accounts preparation.
- Managing day-to-day client queries and building strong professional relationships.
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and provide routine accounting support.
- Working to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
About You
- A minimum of two to three years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Be part-qualified and actively studying towards ACA, ACCA or AAT.
- Experience preparing accounts and VAT returns.
- Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software, including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and ideally CCH.
- Confidence communicating directly with clients and building professional relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and genuine ambition to progress within an accountancy practice.
