Corporate Tax Manager

About the opportunity
Are you an experienced Corporate Tax professional looking for your next career move? This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning accountancy and advisory firm in Cheltenham, taking ownership of client relationships and supporting the development of a growing tax team.
You’ll work with a varied portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses and mid-sized corporate clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance services and contributing to advisory work.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and managing corporate tax compliance work, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

Acting as the day-to-day contact for clients and building strong relationships.

Reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by junior team members.

Working closely with audit, accounts and other teams to deliver an excellent client service.

Supporting tax advisory projects and identifying opportunities to add value.

Managing risk, work in progress and fee quotations.

Mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
The role offers hybrid and flexible working, with a regular office presence to support the wider team.
What we’re looking for

ACA or CTA qualified, with experience reviewing corporate tax computations in practice.

Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance.

Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Experience supporting and developing junior team members.

A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong organisational skills.
