Take the next step in your Tax career. We’re working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Cardiff that is looking to add an ambitious Tax Senior to its expanding tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid practice experience who wants more than just a compliance-focused role. You’ll gain broad exposure across personal, partnership and corporate tax, work closely with clients and HMRC, and have the support and development opportunities needed to progress your career. You’ll be joining a supportive and collaborative team where your development is genuinely valued, with the opportunity to build your technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility as you progress.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing personal, partnership and corporate tax returns
- Managing a portfolio of clients and responding to tax queries
- Liaising confidently with clients and HMRC
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation
- Supporting the wider tax team and contributing to a high level of client service
What we’re looking for:
- ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA, or part-qualified CTA
- Around 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Good knowledge of tax compliance, ideally across a range of taxes
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
- Someone ambitious who is keen to develop and progress within practice
