I’m delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Cardiff who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, managing a varied portfolio and taking ownership of accounts work from start to finish. The Role: You will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, providing a high-quality accounts service while supporting the wider team. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of SME clients Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts Preparing management accounts and VAT returns Overseeing bookkeeping and accounts production Providing clients with accounting and commercial advice Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members About You: Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice Strong experience in accounts preparation Confident managing a portfolio of clients Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent communication and client management skills Organised, commercially aware and able to manage your own workload ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience What’s on Offer?
