Salary: Up to £32,000

Our Client
Autograph are working alongside a dynamic and growing Accountancy Practice based in Swansea. This is a very exciting time at the company with future plans to extend the team. Their success has come from the dedication of their staff that bring knowledge and years of experience to the business. We are looking for experienced Bookkeepers who have at least two years experience working in practice.

The opportunity
This role will be to work on clients; posting invoices, reconciling bank and preparing journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation. This will mainly be on Xero (80%) but also with other packages (Sage and Quickbooks)

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients
  • Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and other products
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to reconcile all control accounts
  • Data processing and reconciliations both at clients premises and in the office
  • Preparation of VAT Returns

The ideal candidate

  • 2 years of Bookkeeping experience
  • 2 years experience in accountancy practice
  • Ability to deal with tasks on a timely basis
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Competent in setting own deadlines and meeting organisation deadlines
  • Self manage work loads
  • Be driven and determined
