We're currently working with a large independent firm based in Cardiff, who are looking to further grow and develop their team. As an Audit Manager, you'll manage audits from planning to completion across a client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and review audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion
  • Manage and mentor audit teams, ensuring high-quality work
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with standards
  • Identify risks, communicate findings, and provide proactive advice to clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support clients with complex accounting and regulatory issues

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must be ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 4 years' experience in practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
  • Currently a manager or ready to step up
  • Confident communicator with solid leadership and client-facing skills
  • Experience mentoring and reviewing junior staff
