We're currently working with a large independent firm based in Cardiff, who are looking to further grow and develop their team. As an Audit Manager, you'll manage audits from planning to completion across a client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven client relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and review audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion
- Manage and mentor audit teams, ensuring high-quality work
- Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with standards
- Identify risks, communicate findings, and provide proactive advice to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support clients with complex accounting and regulatory issues
The Ideal Candidate
- Must be ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 4 years' experience in practice
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
- Currently a manager or ready to step up
- Confident communicator with solid leadership and client-facing skills
- Experience mentoring and reviewing junior staff
