Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) + Study Support

Are you looking for a role that blends audit and accounts work, with the opportunity to specialise in audit as your career progresses? This growing accountancy firm is looking to expand their team with a part-qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA accountant who enjoys the variety of a mixed role and wants to grow with a supportive and forward-thinking practice.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll start with a 50/50 split between audit and accounts, working across a varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses. As the firm’s audit client base continues to grow, this role will naturally transition into a predominantly audit-focused position.

Preparing year-end statutory accounts

Assisting with and leading audits (on-site and remote)

Preparing corporation tax returns

Supporting and liaising with clients on queries and issues

Working closely with managers and partners to deliver quality work on time

What my client is looking for

Part-qualified (late-stage) or newly qualified ACA or ACCA

Experience in both audit and accounts preparation within practice

Strong communication and organisational skills

A team player who enjoys variety and client interaction

Keen to develop your audit skills as part of a growing, ambitious firm
