We're recruiting for an
Accounts Senior to join a well-established practice in Bridgwater.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.
The Role
As an Accounts Senior, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounts and tax services while supporting the wider team.
This role offers plenty of client interaction and genuine opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
- Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
- Preparing and submitting tax returns and liaising with HMRC where required.
- Providing advice and support to clients on day-to-day accounting matters.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Using cloud accounting software including
- Xero and
- Quick Books
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Minimum three years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounts and tax compliance.
- Experience managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with
- Xero
- Quick Books
, or similar accounting software.
