Our client is a reputable and expanding accountancy firm known for delivering high-quality financial services to a broad and varied client base. They are currently seeking an Accountant to join their team, providing support across accounting, taxation, and financial reporting functions. This position is well-suited to a candidate with at least three years of experience in a practice environment, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently preparing accounts for limited companies, sole-traders and partnerships
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Additional ad hoc work as required for clients such as cashflow forecasts, budgets, grant applications
- Audit involvement and VAT work
- Client facing – must be confident dealing with clients
- Experience with Taxcalc is desired or Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
