I'm working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Bridgend that is looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team.
You'll work with a varied portfolio of SME clients, taking responsibility for day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns and general client queries. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their career within practice.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting with management accounts and month-end
- Dealing with client queries
About you:
- Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within accountancy practice
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and VAT
- Experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Confident communicating with clients
- Reliable, proactive and keen to develop
