Ready to take the next step in your accountancy career? We’re delighted to be supporting an established accountancy practice in Worcester with the appointment of a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of a portfolio, build strong client relationships and develop your technical and commercial experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and building strong working relationships
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of businesses
- Supporting clients with personal and business tax compliance and advisory matters
- Providing commercial advice and identifying opportunities to support clients’ wider business objectives
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance and support
- Delegating work where appropriate and helping to develop more junior members of the team
- Managing your own portfolio and ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Working closely with partners and colleagues to deliver a high-quality service to clients
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients and building strong professional relationships
- Commercially aware with the ability to understand and respond to clients’ needs
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive approach with a genuine desire to progress your career
