We are currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established and independent accountancy practice seeking to appoint an experienced Practice Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys a broad and varied role and is looking to join a professional, supportive and personable working environment. The firm operates with a traditional, client-focused approach and is seeking someone who is happy to take a hands-on role across all areas of the practice, including supporting wider administrative functions when required.
The successful Semi Senior Accountant will be involved in a varied portfolio of work including:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Personal and corporation tax work
- Client liaison and ongoing client support
- Assisting with payroll duties where required
- General office and practice administration
Skills and Experience as a Semi Senior Accountant:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential
- AAT / ACA / ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience
