About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join our growing accountancy practice in Budleigh Salterton. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a varied portfolio of clients including owner-managed businesses, sole traders and limited companies. You will be responsible for preparing accounts, assisting with tax compliance and supporting clients with their financial reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Assisting with personal and corporation tax returns
- Liaising with clients to obtain records and resolve queries
- Maintaining accurate accounting records using cloud accounting software
- Supporting senior team members with client management
- Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts where required
