Location: Cullompton, Devon (office-based)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours/week)

Contract Type: Fixed-term (15 months)

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

I'm currently working with a well-established, internationally active healthcare supplier that’s looking for an experienced Accounts Office Manager to join their friendly and dedicated team on a 15-month maternity cover contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong finance experience and a hands-on management approach who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment.

About the Role

  • You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the accounts team, overseeing both finance and admin staff, and playing a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly across internal systems.
  • Managing daily finance operations and reporting
  • Leading a small team across accounts and sales admin functions
  • Bank reconciliations and purchase ledger maintenance
  • Processing weekly payment runs and managing supplier/customer accounts
  • Coordinating monthly stock takes and valuations
  • Preparing payroll information for external accountants
  • Ensuring accurate Sage entries and maintaining clean ledgers
  • Previous experience in a finance/accounts office environment
  • Familiarity with order processing, stock, or sales systems is a bonus
