Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in central Bath, is looking to expand its team with the addition of an Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior Accountant. This opportunity would suit someone with previous accountancy practice experience who is looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm where development and progression are encouraged. The Role

As part of the team, you will be involved in a varied and hands-on role, including:

  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Completing bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Assisting with management accounts and client reporting
  • Supporting clients with day-to-day queries and building strong working relationships
  • Working closely with senior team members across a varied client portfolio
