Accounts Assistant

Salary: £25k+ DOE

Are you currently working in an accountancy practice and ready for your next step?

We’re recruiting for a supportive and growing firm in the South West who are looking for someone with around 2+ years’ practice experience to join their team.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Supporting with personal tax returns (basic level)
• General bookkeeping and VAT
• Liaising with clients when needed
• 100% office based – full team environment

What they’re looking for

• Someone with a couple of years\’ experience in an accountancy practice
• A reliable all-rounder, happy to roll their sleeves up
• Ambitious and keen to progress, or, happy in a steady accounts role long-term
• Strong understanding of the basics and ready to take on more
• A team player who will thrive in an office based, collaborative setting
