Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing manufacturing and engineering business in the Forest of Dean with the appointment of an experienced HR Officer / HR Advisor.

You'll work closely with employees and managers, providing practical advice while helping to improve processes, strengthen engagement and create a positive working environment.
This is not purely an administrative position. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership, share ideas and become a trusted point of contact across the business.
- Your responsibilities
- Provide practical advice to managers on HR policies and employee matters
- Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee changes
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support training, development and performance-review activities
- Assist with payroll information, reporting and HR administration
- Help review and improve HR policies and processes
- Support wider people and culture projects
- Promote an inclusive, engaged and high-performing workplace
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor or similar generalist role
- xgikmsk A good understanding of HR processes and current employment legislation
- Confidence supporting managers with employee matters
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and approachable working style
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
