Our client is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax professional to join their well-established tax team, working across a varied portfolio and delivering high-quality personal tax compliance services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant personal tax experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, ambitious and collaborative practice. The role offers exposure to a broad range of private client work, with professional qualification support available for the right individual.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with a portfolio of personal tax clients and preparing Self Assessment tax returns
- Supporting tax compliance work for individuals and trusts
- Assisting with client queries and providing a professional, responsive service
- Liaising with HMRC on relevant tax matters
- Working closely with senior colleagues to ensure deadlines and client requirements are met
- Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and developing your technical knowledge
- Managing your workload effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider tax team
- Taking ownership of your work while knowing when to seek support and guidance
About You
- At least 12 months' relevant UK personal tax experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice
- Good understanding of personal tax compliance
