As a Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to deliver high-quality dishes and consistent service. This role is ideal for an experienced Chef de Partie ready to take the next step, with a strong focus on leadership, organization, and maintaining exceptional food and hygiene standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Lead kitchen sections and ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Supervise, train, and motivate junior chefs and kitchen team members
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste
- Step in to manage the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs
- Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement initiatives

- Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering Certificate
