Role Purpose
The Business Development Executive role is designed for someone who can build trusted, long-term relationships with independent motor dealers and grow AutoGrab through a partnership-led approach. This is not a purely outbound or transactional sales role. The successful candidate will genuinely understand and use AutoGrab’s technology to help dealers improve performance over time, positioning AutoGrab as a credible, ongoing partner rather than a one-off solution. The focus is on shorter sales cycles, strong early engagement, and long-term value creation through relationship-driven growth.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business & Account Growth
- Build rapport and long-term relationships with independent dealers based on trust and credibility
- Identify, engage and convert new dealer opportunities through consultative, insight-led conversations
- Position AutoGrab as a strategic partner within a dealer’s wider technology and data ecosystem
- Run structured discovery conversations focused on dealer workflows, challenges and commercial goals
- Confidently demonstrate AutoGrab products using real-world, dealer-relevant use cases
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the AutoGrab platform through regular use
- Support early account engagement post-sale to ensure a strong foundation for long-term relationships
- Work closely with Customer Success to ensure a joined-up dealer experience
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records including activity, pipeline, forecasting and notes
- Share dealer insights with Sales and Product to support continuous improvement
