We're currently looking for a hands on Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire to help keep our production equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably. You'll be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills gained within a manufacturing, production or packaging environment. This is a full time, permanent role working 7am - 3pm, Monday to Thursday and 7am - 2.30pm on a Friday. So, what will you be doing? Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and automation faults Supporting production teams to minimise downtime and restore equipment quickly Maintaining motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains and pneumatic systems Fault-finding on 24VDC, 230VAC and 415VAC electrical systems Working with PLC-controlled machinery, control panels, sensors and safety systems Assisting with machinery installations, commissioning and improvement projects Completing inspections and ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose Maintaining accurate maintenance records and service reports Supporting contractors working on site and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed Sourcing engineering spare parts and supporting maintenance planning activities As well as an exciting opportunity and a competitive salary, what do we have offer?
